quick post about this week

nothing much went on this week except me being sick, well lets get started.

Just like every other week, helped my mom babysit my nephew, his name is Kai and he takes the most gnarliest dumps in his diapers that I have ever smelled. They say he has my nose -_-.

Now onto school.

I bought myself a fish burrito from Rubios. Yum.

Oh yeah.. we were on the news yo! shiiiit

apparently this mustang got itself stuck in a 3 feet wide sink hole. They were having a hard time trying to get the car out of the hole. I hope that guy sues the city.

Thats it for now, hopefully more stuff this weekend.

Valentines day and Mama Anching's birthday

My Soc 150 class. Notice I sit so far in the back because I needa leave before everyone else so I can beat traffic and not have to rush for work.

yeah so this is how my weekend went.
Saturday:
Joanna had work till like 4 and I had my Geol. test in the morning so I spent basically the whole day to myself up until she got out. She didnt wanna do much except go check out Pho Ca Dao.

This place is the shit, end of story. Its located on El Cajon Blvd.

The lovely Joanna waiting for her pho.

Me waiting for my "Number 1"

My "number 1" and No I do not know how to pronounce it, but man with some hot sauce it was awesome.

Joanna wanted her own bowl of Pho because the last time we shared she didnt like the fact that I LOVE hot sauce with my soup.

Afterwards we went back to my house and watched Notorious, and being a Hip Hop fan this movie fucking sucked. They seemed to of fast fowarded through Biggies life without viewing anything really meaningful. They did bring out their depiction of the Studio incident with Tupac getting shot, besides that this whole movie just sucked and made Lil Kim look real bad.

Sunday: Mama Anching's birthday in Mira Mesa

I didnt really take much pictures, I was too busy eating and talking to everyone so yeah.

This is my niece from the bay "yanna". shes so smart for her age.

GET IT!!!!!

hahaha whats up with the bingo yall???

yeah and thats about it, I really wish I took more pics from yesterday but hey the time went by fast, next time I guess.

I think I want Thai food next time me and Jo go out. Whooop.

the sexiest

Beat Juggling

Is something that I like to consider my forte when it comes to being a turntablist. For those who dont know beat juggling is defined as:

A popular mixing technique which involves mixing two identical programs with a slight offset to create a doubling of the bass line. This technique also includes mixing two different programs in tempo to create a more complex alternating beat structure.

Instead of just explaining it ill provide some examples of some notable juggles.

DJ IDee: "love me or hate me" by Lady Soverign

DJ swift rock: "Grindin" by clipse

DJ Babu "Blind Alley" By The Emotions

As for my material? hah you just gotta hear it in person for that. =)

No more Cs 108 = 1 hour of free time for me.

Looks like I have a gap in my schedule for school now..

Firecracker Chicken, Beijing Beef and some chow mein. I really needa stop buying food on campus. Anybody notice my blog revolves around food? hmm.

Song of the week: Blue Scholars: " Self Portrait"

Shorty feels the pressure on his shoulders as he's liftin it
Wonders why the elders always tell him not to question it
Options at the bottom of the ladder got him desperate
But all he ever wanted was a weapon to protect him with
Riding a 36 through the veins of the beacon
The water is the heart, its rainin when its beatin
In the city that I sleep in I'm dreamin while I'm awake
The miserable escape but theyre too high to ponder faith
But who am I, to use their plight to illustrate a rhyme
With everything around me that I've never had to live
But I observe the inner qualities to serve the people properly
Tell them that their freedom isn't found in private property
Prostitutes are more than just the folks who sell their bodies
See this shit applies to those whos souls are a commodity
I can hear the colony callin me back to be
The bullet in the belly while they lock, load, and squeeze

Rebel with a pen lettin off buckshots in threes
Rewriting what it is into what it ought to be
They made a mockery out of the possibility
But under constant revision is the poem that I be

Some overpriced Japanese food with the tiniest servings ever:

This is Sushi Itto, located at F street right in front of Horton Plaza here in Downtown San Diego, Expensive as shit, tiny ass servings, and no Japanese workers whats so ever, not bad though for some Japanese food made by Mexicans, props to that.

The big rolls was this fish roll that Jo ordered that tasted like those little fried fishes that youd get at any filipino seafood market, and those tiny ass rolls were my "Unagi" . I know looked totally different compared to what youre used to seeing right??

This bad motherfucker right here kind of cheered me up, except it was 15 dollars. This is their specialty of the night, the "tiger roll". Those are chunks of Salmon on top btw.

Moral of the story, eating down town is expensive and gratuity is a bitch.

Driving down the block like what else shoulda brotha do..

Alot of rain, alot of traffic, some good pictures:

This Pathfinder had a Skyline GTR emblem on the bottom right, pure awesomeness.

This is crazy, it looks like this delivery truck either fell on its side and hit something, or straight rolled over.

Oh.. and we had a fire drill at work today, just like high school/middle/elementary hah.

My office space:

This is what I stare at 4 days out of the week:

Man its raining pretty bad out there tonight, good chance for me to lock myself in my room and work on some new beat juggles (I'll explain this in a later post). Clue on new material: "I just wanna let you know.. the world.. is about to feel.. something.. that they never.. felt before.

Song of the Week: Movemeant - Yesterday

yo, put my best foot forward, took two steps, toward the opposite
back and forth with things, saw a lotta shit
and I was under pressure, now I'm on top of it
so now I'm taking all I can get
my getaway hit the fork in the road and took the scenic route
'tween me and you, it brought the phoenix out of me
so partner you can hate me or love me, cause I might have been wrong
but my heart was pure, still, I cant say I dont have regrets
made mistakes I that wont soon forget, expectations I haven't met
and yet, I wouldn't trade this moment, pray for atonement
take me for what I am, a romantic but I'm not hopeless
writing my magnum opus, either you're high pysch, or lose focus
if you let it, some of y'all will never get it, holding on to...

Hanaoka

So me and Joanna decided we should head out to hanaoka last night for some dinner, for those who dont know its that Japanese restaurant thats on sweetwater road right next to Carls Jr. I must say the place is hella dope.

Theres my awesome beef Udon.

Heres my JoJonuts with her Miso Ramen.

Tuesday night: Soup, this weekend: Sushi time.. gyeah.

So I decided to start up one of these and begin to chronicle my adventures eversince I picked up my new phone, which is an LG Vu:

Picked up this bad boy during At&t's 50% deal, awesome Phone for it being under 100.

Yeah, this blog will be full of pretty random stuff that I find interest in, so I guess this will be fun.
